What the connection does
- Write invoice and receipt records into your own Lexware Office account.
- Read your existing categorization history to learn how your business codes comparable entries.
- Attach the original document to the entry so the source is always traceable.
- Suggest a category for each new document, based on your own historical patterns.
- Flag low-confidence documents for review instead of guessing.
- Keep a timestamped log of every document, suggestion and approval.
What it does not do
- Replace Lexware Office. It stays your accounting system of record.
- Decide the correct tax treatment of a transaction. That is your and your Steuerberater's call.
- Post entries you haven't approved. Categorization is a suggestion until you confirm it.
- File returns, produce annual accounts, or give bookkeeping or tax advice.
- Change your chart of accounts or your existing Lexware setup on its own initiative.
- Give us ownership of your data. Your Lexware account and your documents stay yours.

You
You own the Lexware Office account, review the suggested entries, and approve what gets treated as final.
Your Steuerberater
Keeps control of tax filings, year-end and advice. They receive cleaner, more consistent data — nothing about their role changes.
